There are Storywalks™ ready for viewing in Eliot
This spring’s story is “Wake Up, Baby Bear!” by Lynn Plourde with illustrations by Teri Weidner. Baby Bear is exhausted from staying up late in the fall and has trouble waking up in the spring. His friends can’t wake him up either until Mother Robin comes along and has a way to get him going.
The South Berwick Public Library, William Fogg Memorial Library, Marshwood High School Library and the Great Works Regional Land Trust are presenting a Maine 200 Bicentennial StoryWalk™ Celebration of Maine authors and illustrators.
The three libraries and the land trust collaborated on the StoryWalk™ trail which opened in 2018 and the William Fogg Memorial Library funded the Maine 200 Storywalk™ selections. The StoryWalks™ are installed seasonally along the trail at the Douglas Memorial Woods in Eliot, Maine. Park at the Grange Hall and walk down the road a bit to the signs for the trailhead and begin the StoryWalk™.
