Shannon Weber started at the library when she was still working on her Master’s in Information and Library Science degree.
We were so lucky to have her here for three years. She is the one who completely bumped up the quality of our monthly displays, creating eye-catching and intriguing presentations that drew people to look closer.
She is also responsible for our yearbook digitizing project that is almost ready to go live just as she leaves us. She and volunteer Denise Foster, reformatted hundreds of pages of South Berwick and Eliot yearbooks so they will be available on-line to everyone. We thought the job would take a couple of months but it has been more than a year’s worth of work.
Shannon has been a pleasure to work with and we are so happy she has found her new place at the Seabrook Public Library where she will work full time as the Adult Services Librarian. We will miss her so! And we wish her well.
